In our next Sofa Talk we discuss one of the most difficult role we are called to undertake, being a parent. We analyze the definition of parenting from different perspectives with guests whose experience will help answer the most critical questions. Evangelia Dimitriou refers to the role of the parent in the upbringing of the child and how this can influence its emotional development. Christiana Genie poses dilemma of raising kids so they become "Right people in society" or free spirited adults and suggests ways we can empower them to support their views and take responsibility. Stephen Machucas highlights the biggest eating mistakes parents make in shaping their child's eating habits and suggests healthy eating choices. Marigeorgia Voskaridou gives advice on how parents can help children in the career decision-making process, communicate more effectively with them and create a supportive environment.
